Previously a daffodil farm in the late 70’s the 8 acre property was then bought in 1988 as a holiday farm. Vines were planted in 1996 and first harvested in 2000.
Abelli Estate (abelli means vineyard in greek) is truly unique; our exquisite wines are produced using the fruit grown on the property.
Opened last week of august 2019, Abelli offers wines such as pinot gris, chardonnay, pinot noir – the latest release and moscato.
Very quickly, this charming Mornington Peninsula Winery & Tapas place has wowed lovers of fresh seafood, charcoal cooked meats, traditional greek entrees, ‘that’ famous fresh salad, and of course, paired with their own Abelli Estate wines!… When at Abelli, you’ll meet lovers of Greek food made up of locals from adjoining suburbs like Portsea, Sorrento, Blairgowrie, Main Ridge, Flinders, Shoreham, Balnarring, Merricks, Dromana, Mt Martha, Mornington, Mt Eliza, as well as people who have travelled from all over Melbourne, Victoria & Australia!…
