Venus Bay Caravan Park
close to Phillip Island, Kilcunda, Wonthaggi, Cape Paterson, Inverloch, Wilsons Promontory
Situated only 500 metres from the main surf beach, patrolled every day in Summer school holidays and on weekends. Venus Bay Caravan Park has a spacious layout with power, water and sullage from all sites.
Victoria’s Venus Bay has the state’s longest sandspit with five surf beaches. Choose from surfing, river & estuary fishing, hiking or biking, all on picturesque settings! If you enjoy the beauty of the nature, Venus Bay has lots to offer. Only a short drive from the Caravan Park is Point Smythe Reserve where there are many scenic bush-walking tracks. There are great views of Anderson’s Inlet and an abundance of wildlife to be seen. Watch out for kangaroos crossing, particularly near Fisherman’s Jetty and just past the viewing tower, approaching Point Smythe. Boat ramps are located at Fisherman’s Jetty and Tarwin Lower.
Ensuite sites are also available. Both cabins and sites are set in a shady parkland setting and are suitable for either the romantic weekend away or a family beach holiday.
